Audition to Sing with Us!
This audition form is for those who wish to be engaged as a singer with the professional choirs of Inversion— the mixed choir under Trevor Shaw and the treble choir Da Capo under Katrina (Rina) Saporsantos—starting 2025. Singers who have sung with Inversion and Da Capo in previous seasons and would like to be considered for future projects will need to audition.
Please answer ALL questions below and submit by Sunday, October 20 at 11:59pm to be considered for a live, in-person audition on either Saturday, November 9 from 10am-6pm or Monday, November 11 from 6-9pm. This is a hard deadline. If you do not submit the form by the due date or write to us about not being able to make these dates, you will not be considered for opportunities in 2025 and will have to wait until the next audition round in late summer of 2025.
We’re requiring the following at the time of application;
fully completed application form
professional singing résumé
headshot
TWO songs. Of the two, one must be an art song.
Comfort level doing a sight-reading exam
On Sunday, November 3, along with their audition schedule, singers will be emailed an excerpt they will need to learn at home and sing for us in person.
